Office Assistant (Part-time)

An established logistics company, located near Warrendale, PA, is seeking a part-time Office Assistant.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide administrative support to all areas of the company, specifically to the Finance Department
  • Document scanning and assignment
  • Mail handling
  • Request paperwork such as proof of deliveries and bill of ladings from vendors
  • Assist with office inventory and restocking items in common areas
  • Data entry within the Company’s transportation management system to include vendor packets
  • Sending vendor ACH remittances
  • Respond to vendor aging requests via email

Qualifications:

  • HS Diploma and a minimum of 2 years of experience working in an administrative or clerical role within an office environment required
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
  • Must possess a high attention to detail and have the ability to multi-task
  • The ability to obtain through training a general working knowledge of technologies related to Third Party Logistics (3PL), as well as general office administration related technologies
  • The ability to do routine business mathematical calculations
  • Must be able to communicate both written and verbally with customers, vendors and various levels within the organization

Suggested Hours: Mondays and Thursday, 12:00pm-5:00pm (can be flexible; 10-15 hours per week)
