Production Lead

A manufacturing company, located near Beaver Falls, PA, is seeking a Production Lead.

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for assisting in overseeing all aspects of the manufacturing facility.
• Will provide hands-on leadership to the production staff.
• Will monitor production flow, safety and material/labor costs.
• Assist with implementing process improvement methods within both manufacturing and warehousing in an effort to reduce labor costs as well as maintain tight product specifications.
• Responsible for inventory management.
• Will assist with processing orders and scheduling common carriers for timely deliveries of products to customers.
• Ensure workplace safety through implementation and enforcement of company safety programs.

Qualifications:

• AS or BS Degree and a minimum of 5 years of foreman and/or production management experience required
• Knowledge of processing equipment and systems required
• Experience operating a forklift and skid steer, or willing to be trained
• Good computer skills; proficiency with MS Office and QuickBooks desired
• Must be mechanically inclined and have excellent analytical and problem solving skills
• Must be a self-starter and have excellent communication skills
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Comfortable working in an industrial and dusty environment

Hours: Monday-Friday, 7:00am-3:30pm, plus possible OT and Saturdays during busy season
